Publishing rules and regulations has never been easier

In most jurisdictions, the number of rules, orders, and regulations promulgated each year far exceeds the number of legislative Acts. As well as the sheer volume of regulatory material, and the number of bodies that can create them, the publishing process is hugely complex. In Ireland, the increase in emergency legislation during the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to a rise in the volume of regulations which often demanded even tighter turnaround times.
